As a Texas Township Trustee, Wendy took drastic actions to immediately address flooding. Listening to residents’ fears and concerns and working together with other leaders, Wendy did everything in her power to help find solutions to ease the flooding. She will continue to listen to the experts to find long-term solutions for lake families.
Wendy is a mom to Six children - all
who attended Portage Public Schools.
Wendy was worried about what was being taught in our schools, so she ran for School Board. Wendy won that election and focused on giving parents a voice and letting them vote on major proposals - giving them more power and say in their children's education.
